Looking for a Disney Plus free trial? We completely understand. Seeing as there are more streaming services vying for our cash these days than ever (be it Netflix, Paramount Plus, Max, or any of the dozen others), being able to try before you buy isn't a bad idea.
Unfortunately, we've got bad news. As of right now (February 2024), it is impossible to get a Disney Plus free trial. The service stopped providing them years ago in every territory, and we don't expect a comeback any time soon. With that in mind, your cheapest option would be the standard membership with ads ($7.99 per month in the US and £4.99p/m in the UK). So far as value goes, it's worth checking out the streaming service's annual subscription. While it's pricier off the bat, you're getting 12 months of Disney Plus for the price of 10. From experience, that's the biggest saving you'll make.
We'll admit that none of these hold up to the Disney Plus free trial of old. Nothing beats the low, low cost of 'nada,' after all. But that's just the world we live in now, so short of getting it tacked on to a subscription or contract (like the O2 UK's phone deals), we don't have a tremendous amount of choice.

Is there a 7 day free trail for Disney Plus?
No, you can't get a Disney Plus free trial anymore. Actually, the old trial period in the USA, UK, Canada, and Australia is gone for good. It was removed a couple of years ago, and because the streaming service has somewhere around 150 million subscribers these days, Disney's got no incentive to change its mind.
As such, the cheapest method of signing up is a Basic membership with ads for $7.99 per month in the US or £4.99p/m in the UK. These subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, and there's no limit on what you can access - it's not like you'll be barred from certain content because you've chosen a cheaper membership.
Will the Disney Plus free trial come back?
If you're curious about if and when a Disney Plus free trial will return, you're not alone. We're wondering the same thing, but it isn't looking good. Disney Plus has amassed more than a hundred million subscribers since launching in November 2019, and that shows how popular it's become without a free test period. As such, there's no incentive for Disney to reverse its removal.
The best we can hope for is a discount like the one we got during Disney Plus Day
Even though we can see the Disney Plus free trial getting an encore during promotional pushes, the odds still aren't great. Disney seems happy to rely on a stream of original content that'll reel in audiences instead, and there's more than enough on the horizon to pique interest for even the most belligerent viewer. Instead of a Disney Plus trial, the best we can hope for is a discount like the one we got during Disney Plus Day. This temporarily reduced the price to $1.99 for a single month if you were a new or returning subscriber.
Is Disney Plus free with Hulu?
Sorry folks, no - Disney Plus is not free with Hulu. Well, unless you get lucky and the streaming service brings back that excellent offer from last Black Friday...
However, you can still save a bunch of money on the two streaming services by bundling them together. The cheapest option is Disney Plus and Hulu Duo Basic (with ads), and that's available for $9.99 per month.

Just be aware that these might change in the future. While the US, UK, Canada, and Australia got a Disney Plus sign-up price increase recently, it's possible that'll we see another hike in the next couple of years.
