Hitman 3 Mission Stories: Chongqing - End Of An Era

In an attempt to expose the work of ICA to the world, Agent 47 needs to access the data core deep within a secret underground Facility. Unfortunately this is protected by Imogen Royce, a brilliant behavioural analyst, and Hush, a great innovator who is running unethical experiments, who are both connected to the data security systems and must be eliminated.

Certainty Principle

Head into the Restaurant below Yuzhong Square on the map, to overhear the conversation with the Board Member and kick things off. Now go outside and cross the square to the hotel opposite, where you'll need to access the ICA Apartment – either continue up to the rooftop then drop down on the far side to climb in through the window, or take a shortcut using 0118 as the code for the front door. Inside, grab the P41 Form off the floor at the foot of the bed, then return to the Restaurant. Either wait for the Dumpling Cook to walk past the storage basket or lure him into the bathroom, then knock him out and take his disguise before dumping the body. Grab the Emetic Rat Poison from the stool in the bathroom, then head into the kitchen.

Walk up to the bowl beside the bell and follow the Prepare prompt, then apply the rat poison when nobody is watching. Ring the Service Bell then wait for the tainted food to be served to the Board Member, before following him into the bathroom to steal his disguise after subduing him then dumping the body. Go through the kitchen and start the tour with the Facility Guide – if you have any illegal weapons, you can conceal them in the wastebasket by the stairs you came down to enter the Facility before passing the frisk. Inside the Vetting Office, use your camera to hack the glass panel in the corner then quickly hack the laptop to let Olivia in. On the other side you'll meet Imogen Royce, so follow her on the tour until the Mission Story is complete.

Impulse Control

Make your way to the alleyway right then up on the map from Yuzhong Square and listen in on the conversation between the Homeless People, before taking down the one stood by the crates, stealing his disguise and dumping the body. Now continue along the alleyway past the blue van, go left then left again to find The Block building – conceal your illegal weapon in the garbage can outside if you have one. Enter the building, pass the frisk, then follow the guard to the screening room and wait your turn. After your brief interview you'll need to find a way up to the top floor, so you could try luring someone into the connected toilet to steal their disguise, or go out onto the balcony through the door and climb the pipe at the end to reach the next floor up.

When you reach Level 5, immediately turn right after you enter the testing area to find a bathroom in the corner where the Perfect Test Subject is waiting. Steal their disguise and dump the body, then return to the test area and speak to researcher Junli. You can then enter the experimentation chairs with Hush to complete the Mission Story – though ultimately you'll need to incapacitate and hide Junli, so Sister Lei will operate the controls without restraint and overload Hush's brain.

All-Seeing Eyes

Go to the Laundromat up then left on the map from Yuzhong Square, then use the ICA code 0118 to unlock the doors at the rear. Head up the stairs and overhear the drone discussion, then sneak past the guards and continue up to the roof. Knock out the Street Guard, take his disguise and sniper rifle, then dump the body and continue up the stairs to the upper roof where the drone can be scanned with your camera. Now stand on the platform under the sign, and snipe the five drones as they move back and forth across the sky in a fixed pattern – it's easiest to hit them at the end of their path rather than when they are moving through the air.

Now you need to avoid the guard patrols, so drop through the gap and slide down the drainpipe as two of them come up the stairs to the upper rooftop, then remain on the roof but stay out of sight until the prompt tells you to shoot more drones near The Block. Sneak behind the guards to get back to the upper rooftop, then take out the remaining drones before waiting for Hush and Imogen Royce to meet in the Lotus Passage opposite. The Mission Story is finished here, but time your shot correctly and you can eliminate both targets with one sniper bullet – and the added bonus is your drone hacking allows Olivia to hack the data core remotely, so you don't even have to set foot in the Facility and can simply stroll out of the nearby exit.

It's time to discover where Diana Burnwood's true allegiance lies, as you meet her at the Yates Estate winery for an exclusive party of movers and shakers. Don Yates is currently lined up to succeed as The Constant, and Tamara Vidal is Arthur Edwards' most trusted aide, so both need to be eliminated to put Diana's plan into motion.

The Tour

Head across the Dance Floor and through Reception to the Fermentation Atrium, where you'll find Corvo Black discussing a tour of the estate. Follow him outside and wait until he goes for a smoke near the railings, then subdue him and steal his disguise before dumping his body in the flowerbed.

Eyes On Target

At the bottom of the main driveway, quickly dart past the Gauchos guarding the entrance to the dirt track and duck into the flowers on your left before you're spotted. Head towards the silos, then lure a Gaucho into the flowers and steal his disguise. Hop over the wall into the silo area then make your way to the upper gantry and listen to the discussion between the sniper and their spotter.

Over The Top

Go over the Dance Floor and through Reception to the far side of the Fermentation Atrium, then eavesdrop on the conversation between the two Workers about overflowing tanks. You'll need to be disguised as a Worker or Gaucho to follow the Senior Worker and continue the next part of the Mission Story relatively unchallenged.
