Airbender Wins Razzies Worst Film

The anti-Oscars handed out its awards on Saturday night, and M Night Shyamalan’s fantasy would have swept the board if it hadn’t been for Sex And The City 2

The 31st annual RAZZIE Awards ceremony celebrating “The Worst Achievements In Film” (and voted for by the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation) was held in LA on Saturday (in advance of the Oscars), and M Night Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender was the big winner/loser.

To quote the official press release: “Not quite sweeping the ceremony, but still handily leading the pack among this year’s RAZZIE choices is RAZZIE repeat offender M Night Shyamalan’s ‘re-imagining’ of the faux-anime’ TV series The Last Airbender into a jumbled, jump-cut mess of a movie that fans of the TV show hated even more than critics did (if that’s even possible!).”

We’re just shocked that Vampires Suck didn’t win anything…
