Adrian Tchaikovsky Confirmed For Weekender

Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, the Shadows Of The Apt author joins the guest list

In our never-ending quest to make the SFX Weekender the event of the decade, nay, century, we're pleased to announce that the fantastic Adrian Tchaikovsky has been added to the mighty line-up of guests we have assembled for your entertainment at our rapidly approaching seaside sci-fi carnival.

The author of the insect-themed Shadows Of The Apt series, Tchaikovsky studied psychology and zoology at Reading University and during the day he’s a legal executive in Leeds, where he lives with his wife and son. Meanwhile his not-so-secret identity is as a successful fantasy writer, and The Sea Watch is the sixth instalment in his ever-popular series that began with Empire in Black and Gold in 2008. He is also a keen live role player and occasional actor who is trained in the dark art of stage fighting.
