What Mario looks like with no clothes or skin

Ever wonder what Mario would look like without any clothes or skin? Yeah, we haven’t either. But designer Jason Freeny has given a lot of thought to the matter. Check out his impressive anatomical Mario statue, which reveals the soft and gooey insides of the iconic plumber. The vinyl statue stands five inches tall and was hand-crafted by Freeny. It was recently featured at Comic-Con New York 2010 and is currently on sale at eBay.

This isn’t the first time Freeny has sculpted the anatomy of a famous character. He’s also explored the insides of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters, My Little Pony, Nemo, and the Alien from Toy Story. You can check Freeny’s website, Moist Production to see more amazing sculptures and images from the brilliant designer.

What! Staypuft is a Marshmallow, he has no skeleton or internal organs.. if he had they Ghostbusters would have been covered in bile & blood after popping him in the film. Like the other sculptures though. :P

Wouldn't the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man have marshmallow insides instead of organs and bones?

I like the mario sculpture, and I like the idea of it all. But after the 10th or so statue- the whole thing kinda loses its appeal.
