Ever wonder what Mario would look like without any clothes or skin? Yeah, we haven’t either. But designer Jason Freeny has given a lot of thought to the matter. Check out his impressive anatomical Mario statue, which reveals the soft and gooey insides of the iconic plumber. The vinyl statue stands five inches tall and was hand-crafted by Freeny. It was recently featured at Comic-Con New York 2010 and is currently on sale at eBay.

This isn’t the first time Freeny has sculpted the anatomy of a famous character. He’s also explored the insides of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters, My Little Pony, Nemo, and the Alien from Toy Story. You can check Freeny’s website, Moist Production to see more amazing sculptures and images from the brilliant designer.
