First appeared: Shinobi (arcade)
“What do you mean that guy's name isn't Shinobi?” a generation of fairweather ninja fans asks. What, a ninja can't be called Joe? Since gracing arcades and Sega machines with his first terrorist-murdering outing back in 1987, Musashi-San's gone on to disembowel criminals, rival clans, demons, robots, and whatever other opponents the Shinobi series' early entries managed to incorporate. Having gone quiet in the post-16 bit era, Shinobi's seen sporadic revivals on machines such as the PS2 and 3DS, which tended to remind players of just how tough games used to be back when we only had two dimensions to play with.
For his racing reappearance, Musashi places the ninja skillz on the backburner (because dismembering cute animals isn't fashionable in these PC times) in favor of a frankly deadly-looking jet-powered ATV.
