Ok. I understood all the others. But that one about Halo was completely wrong. Halo ended up as a love story. But if you had to base it off of the actual game play. It would be more fitting as to say a military man uses pronounced physical advantages to defeat thousands over religious oppression. On Halo the covenant psychopathically attempt light the ring and destroy all life in the galaxy. Therefore the human race is fighting to survive religious oppression from the covenant.

Hey...maybe instead of reusing articles the current staff didn't write, you could write something new?

Dishonored: A man tries to prove his innocence in the murder of the empress, by killing everyone else.

Uncharted: A treasure-hunting sociopath murders thousands of people while making witty quips and keeping score of how many he has kicked off of ledges, blown up with grenades while hanging off of ledges, and various other personal goals.

Some of these are exactly as described. Doom and certain others, not so much, but Half-Life, Pokemon, Halo, Zelda, that's EXACTLY what those games are about. I feel like there could have been one for Metroid, too.
  • Tjwoods18 - December 30, 2012 7:42 p.m.

This is where I think that you are wrong, because never once did I believe the protagonist of Pokemon ever gained the respect of Gary or the red headed kid from the second series.
  • BladedFalcon - December 30, 2012 6:53 p.m.

Heh, the God of War made me laugh out loud XD How about the uncharted series? Trigger-happy American bandit guns down dozens of foreign explorers for the sake of finding wealth and treasure.
  • slimjim441 - December 31, 2012 1:36 a.m.

I was honestly surprised there wasn't an Uncharted one as well.

In Metro 2033 you nuke an entire population that was simply trying to communicate with you.
  • zelta38 - December 30, 2012 4:01 a.m.

Hahaha, oh man, the God of War one is so freaking epic (pun not intended), the rest of the list is awesome too! On a side note, which version of pac-man is the screenshot from?
  • RedHarlow - December 30, 2012 11:31 a.m.

Looks like Pac-Man Championship Edition DX
  • zelta38 - February 1, 2013 5:20 a.m.

By this thinking Avatar was "Dances with Wolves" with blue aliens. O yeah it was plus anti-war propaganda.
  • GOD - December 30, 2012 12:44 p.m.

Avatar was clearly Pocahontas in Space. The plot is almost identical. There's even a tree that talks to the natives!
