Karaoke Revolution takes on American Idol

[PS2] Song list and screens revealed for most logical video-game/TV-show mashup ever

While Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol was first announced back in May, we didn't get a real glimpse of the game until today. For the first time (since the disastrously awful American Idol rhythm game, anyway), fans of the TV show will be able to go from auditions to finals, singing to impress Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson (but not Paula Abdul, strangely) while competing to become the next semi-talented performer contractually obligated to sing in Ford commercials.

After graduating from college in 2000 with a BA in journalism, I worked for five years as a copy editor, page designer and videogame-review columnist at a couple of mid-sized newspapers you've never heard of. My column eventually got me a freelancing gig with GMR magazine, which folded a few months later. I was hired on full-time by GamesRadar in late 2005, and have since been paid actual money to write silly articles about lovable blobs.
