Grand Theft Auto V new trailers right here

The triad of GTA 5 trailers are live, and there's never been a better time to get to know its three maladjusted main characters. Each video delves a bit deeper into what Michael, Franklin, and Trevor want to get out of their new life of crime together:

Michael wants a bit of excitement and to get away from his spoiled rich family, Franklin wants to get out of the hood with as few bullet holes as possible, and Trevor... Well, we're not sure even Trevor really knows what he wants here. See for yourself below.

Apparently it is possible to be more excited for GTA V than we already were, so stay tuned for our first full preview coming on Thursday, May 2. If you need more sweet video goodness until then, you can find the very first trailer for GTA V here and the second over here.

Two things: Micheal reminds me a lot of Ed O'Neil from Modern Family and is Micheal's daughter, the blonde lady on the game's cover?

As great as the visuals and gameplay seem, why are all women in GTA whores, prostitutes, strippers and generally depicted as such? For a franchise whose executive in charge is a woman it sure never grew out of that.

Not true at all. Michelle from GTA 4? The rich girls in the trailer are typical rich girls too, nothing abnormal in the way GTA portrays women.

Hmm, I did not play much of GTA4 but quite a lot of the other entries in the series and one out of the dozens of females at the forefront does not indicate a good track record. I do agree with the rich girl part you're talking about, it's a case of choosing the specific demographic that would do such things but seriously, there is a tonne of room for including real normal women in GTA and it does seem purposeful that they are using these types across the series even as it attempts to be more realistic.

....Wow, every single new trailer makes this game look better and better. Also, calling it now, Trevor is gonna be at least top contender for best character of the year, if not straight up the winner. And I do like that instead of relying on the tired cliché of, "just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back in!" Michael's motivation for returning to a life of crime is entirely of his own volition, and because he's sick of the "normal", posh life he had escaped to.

Awesome! Love the Queen song during Michael's video, Trevor seems absolutely crazy and hilarious, and Franklin... I guess he's just CJ at the start of San Andreas. He seems like the weak link to me, but we'll see how that turns out when the game actually comes out.
