Fan-made Fallout TV series pilot is good enough to be the real thing

Video game fan films are one thing, but how would you feel about a fan-made TV series? Would it sweeten the deal if it was a live-action TV series set in the Fallout universe, and the quality was so good that you'd be forgiven for thinking it was a professional, studio-funded project? If you're still not sure what to make of such a thing, why not just watch Fallout: Revelation, which debuted this weekend during San Diego Comic-Con?

The group behind the video, Mechanical Cake TV, describes Fallout: Revelation as a pilot for a TV series set in the Fallout universe. This video is part one of three, so it's relatively safe to assume there's at least two more videos coming. Beyond that however, the fate of Revelation is unknown. It's not associated with Bethesda or likely to show up on a major network, but I could definitely get behind a web series of this quality.

After all, it already happened once with Fallout: Nuka Break - though that series was decidedly more light-hearted. But hey, it's good to have options at the end of the world, right?
