The Aquaman movie gets delayed with a solo Venom movie taking its 2018 spot

It’s time for another round of movie release date musical chairs, this time starring a (non-MCU) Venom standalone movie and, crucially, Aquaman, which has been delayed by a few months but still just about surfaces in 2018.

Aquaman, previously slated for October 5, 2018, has been shifted back to December 21, 2018. It’s probably the meticulous scouting for seas by director James Wan that’s really driven back the schedule…

And, hey, surely it won’t be as bad as Spider-Man 3’s Venom…

…right?
