Blizzard celebrates seven years of World of Warcraft with in-game treats for players

World of Warcraft will be seven years old next Wednesday, November 23. To celebrate the upcoming milestone, Blizzard will award all players who login between November 20 and December 3 with a Feat of Strength that’ll be added to their achievements list and a special in-game “Celebration Package.” The package will include fireworks and a special “visual only” tabard for your character, granting a 7% bonus to experience and reputation gains while active.

Today’s celebratory news follows the announcement that World of Warcraft will be fluent in Portuguese in preparation for a localized debut in Brazil on December 6. Soon, Brazilians will be able to slash dance on the town mailbox in Brazilian Portuguese realms just like the rest of us. Parabéns!
