Bethesda reveals the many (many) preset faces of Skyrim

Just in case you weren't sold on the depth of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim's character creation system, Bethesda has decided to hammer its point home with the release of new photos showcasing every single preset variations for each of the game's ten playable races. From spiky horned Argonians to painted Orcs, braided Nords and squinty-eyed Elves, visit our fancy new gallery below for a look at the two hundred studio-made models waiting to be inhabited in the upcoming RPG.

The photos were released in advance of Skyrim's appearance at this weekend's PAX Prime 2011 in Seattle, where it will be on display as a hands-on demo for attendees.Take a peak at Bethesda's last batch of character screenshots to see some of the main races in action.

Still haven't found the right face for you? Relax, these are just the presets. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will feature a full do-it-yourself-you-picky-bastard character design system when it launches on November 11 on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

This made me chortle to a high degree. The eyes and quills make them look alot more avian than reptilian: Raptor People.

Gamesradar, let me just point out how sexy your new screen shot interface thingy is. Going from one set of portraits with seamless ease and comfort to another... with no buffering... words simply can't describe the euphoria that overcame me. ON TOPIC, these screen shots are most pleasing, love the Argonians and Wood Elves. All of them look stellar

I'm glad they're heavily upgrading the character creator. The last time I tried to make a Khajiit look like a black panther, he turned out dark red with a bright neon blue mustache. I'm still so confused as to how he got that mustache. Everything was on the dark-color spectrum.

I've always played Dunmer in the past, but the new Argonians look so awesome that I'll have a hard time deciding. All of these look great; none of them are pretty, but medieval people aren't supposed to be. They look like products of a very harsh world.
