Despite being eight months away, next year’s Scifi Weekender is nearly sold out, little surprise given that the mighty lunged Brian Blessed is part of this year’s guest line-up.
Alongside the usual mix of movie screenings, comic workshops, video gaming, music and book readings there’ll be panels and Q&As with SF stars including Garrett Wang, Glen Fabry, Dylan Teague, Boo Cook, Simon Davis, Will Simpson and the BBC Radiophonic Workshop. What’s more, this year will see the introduction of a brand new live event featuring over 20 bands from the “Progressive, Space & Psychedellic Rock spectrum”, which is just a fancy way of saying “cool music”.
Boarding passes for the Scifi Weekender, which runs from 17-20 March are on sale now, or you can win one of 50 sets of four Friday and Saturday tickets via this magic link. It’s first come first served though, so be swift if you want free tickets.
