Vote to play Battlefield 3 in your city before everyone else

EA and promo company Eventful are giving gamers in one US city the opportunity to go hands-on with Battlefield 3 before the game's official release later this month. The contest is part of Eventful's 'Demand It' service, wherein fans have until October 12th to vote on which American city will receive the pre-release preview on October 19th.

In addition to the sneak peak, Battlefield 3 fans in the selected city will also be privy to a private screening of Act of Valor, Relativity Media's war-time action film starring active duty Navy SEALs as a fictional squad tasked with stamping out a global terrorist plot.

A time of print, Los Angeles was leading in the polls, with New York City coming in at a distant second. Other potential cities include Chicago, Dallas, San Diego, Miami, San Francisco, Atlanta, Washington DC and Seattle. Vote for your favorite at the contest site.

Can't make the show? Battlefield 3's multiplayer beta is now open for all PSN, XBLA and PC players. You can also check out our footage from the online test sessions here. Let's be honest, if you aren't already playing or watching Battlefield 3 in some form, you just aren't trying.

Battlefield 3 releases in full form on October 25th in North America, and October 28th in the UK.
