Everything you need to know about BF6 and Redsec Season 3 is listed here
Battlefield 6 Season 3 is out imminently, bringing new content, guns, and even a new map to BF6 and Redsec. While there doesn't really seem to be a theme to the content coming in Season 3, that doesn't change the fact that it looks pretty extensive, with the Railway to Golmud map being the biggest one added to the game so far. Below we'll cover everything you can expect from Season 3 of Battlefield, including laying out the known release dates and times accordingly.

Season 3 maps
There are two maps being added to BF6 across Season 3:
Weekly digests, tales from the communities you love, and more
- Railway to Golmud (May 12). A remade version of the Golmud Railway map from Battlefield 4, this massive map focuses on a village in hilly terrain with an industrial site, as well as a moving train that rolls through the whole thing. Railway to Golmud will be the biggest map in BF6 to date.
- Cairo Bazaar (June 9). A reworked version of the Grand Bazaar map from Battlefield 3 added later in the season, this Egyptian marketplace will be focused on tight conflict and close quarters combat.
Season 3 guns and weapons
There are several new weapons and major loadout options being added to BF6 in Season 3, spread across the three updates:
- May 12
- M16A4 (Assault Rifle): Customizable AR with both full-auto and burst fire options, designed for medium range.
- RPK 74M (LMG): A long-range light machine gun with less recoil and damage than other LMGs.
- L115 (Sniper Rifle): Very long-range bolt action sniper with high damage per shot.
- June 9
- PP-19 (SMG): Short-range weapon with a large magazine clip and steady damage output.
- Handheld Jammer (Recon Gadget): Device that temporarily jams nearby smart or electronic devices. Can be carried with you to disrupt nearby tech, thrown short distances, or carefully placed on the ground.
- June 30
- EOD Bot Arm (Melee weapon): Non-class specific melee weapon. Large robot arm.
