We also see that Sprites are returning in a big way, with lots of different ones to collect that will provide various boosts to your powers. As always, we'll be getting some Fortnite new weapons to play with, including what looks like a powerful shotgun that destroys a vehicle with a blast.

We've also had an official reveal of the Fortnite Season 3 Battle Pass, which confirms the following characters are included:

• Heatwave PJ
• Cluster
• Dylan
• The Guardian
• John Wick (Pen & Ink style)
• The Voidblade
• Vanguard Slone
• Wolfe

This is a mix of returning characters such as Slone and John Wick with new styles, plus some fresh faces – Cluster the duck is my favorite so far! Customizable Sprite Mechs will be available, plus an option to display your Sprite collection. For those who sign up for the Battle Pass during launch week, there are bonus items including the Gold Huntress style for Dylan plus Marbled Speedboat, Venomous Chainsaw, and Gilded Cherub Holster, and further rewards will be available during the season such as John Wick and Dog, Gunglider, Dark Cubic Sneakers, and Blade of the Void.

If you're watching the big Summer Game Fest presentation on June 5, then keep an eye out for the official gameplay trailer reveal for Fortnite Season 3, which should be happening right before the Shattered end of season live event.

How much will the Fortnite Season 3 in Chapter 7 Battle Pass cost?

Fortnite is free to play, but buying the Battle Pass will get you lots of additional rewards.
