Valve, Adult Swim collaboration is an in-game Robot Chicken hat

For the last week, Valve and Adult Swim have been touting anupcoming partnershipbetween the two companies that "you'll probably like."

Today the two companies took the wrapper off this announcement and showed the world what they've been working on: a new hat for Team Fortress 2. Needless to say, this isn't exactly what some fans had in mind.

Given that Adult Swim is in the cartoon business, and Valve makes ultra-high-quality machinima, we hoped the announcement would involve the two of them working together on a series of videos or something of that ilk.

But hats are cool too, we suppose. According to Adult Swim this is only the first in a series of "stuff" they'll be working on with Valve.
