Ultimate Spider-Man swings into view
First look at Spidey's latest lush-looking web-'em-up
Just look at those screenshots. OK, there are only two of them but, let's face it, at first glance, Ultimate Spider-Man looks lush.
Yes, we're suckers for cel-shaded games but, even if you're not, Ultimate still sounds an attractive proposition. Players are given the opportunity to play as both Spider-Man and a super-villain across expanded, free-roaming environments, including the addition of Queens, New York.
We're also promised diverse gameplay and improved combat systems (there are two different styles, depending on which character you're playing) that let players use the environment to pull off a host of new moves.
Ultimate Spider-Man will be released for Xbox, PS2, Gamecube and PC, although a street date has yet to be announced
