It may have just come out on DVD and Blu-ray, but put Transformers: Dark of the Moon out of your mind, as we just got a peek at next year’s promising new model. Even though we liked the live action film's tie-in game, we’re glad its developer High Moon Studios is back to what it does best: crafting new/old adventures for the Autobots and Decepticons. Today the dev and Activision announced that Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is coming to PS3 and 360 in 2012, and its the sequel to 2010’s shockingly good War for Cybertron...
The second cover image is the one that has us really excited, as it confirms that at least one of the Dinobots, their leader Grimlock, is in the game. The Dinobots were one of the few things missing from War for Cybertron’s nostalgic journey, so we’re very pleased to see that wrong righted now. The most important question now is whether Grimlock will talk like an unintelligent child (“Me Grimlock strongest of them all!”) or whether the game makers will go with something a little less silly. And will he be a force for good, or will he challenge Prime for leadership just as he did in classic season one episode War of the Dinobots?
