Total Film has once again touched down in San Diego for the world's premiere comic convention.

San Diego Comic-Con plays host to some of the biggest movie previews in the world, holding starry panels and showcasing genuinely exclusive, never-before-seen footage. This year, Marvel, Warner Bros and many more will be there to present footage from some of the most exciting titles on their slate

You can follow live updates on totalfilm.com, via twitter.com/totalfilm , and you'll find plenty of Comic-Con goodness in upcoming issues of Total Film magazine.

Heading out in style, TF 's Matt Maytum and Matthew Leyland passed through Heathrow Terminal 5 dressed as Batman and Iron Man. Thanks to British Airways ( BA.com (opens in new tab) ) for letting us live the dream of checking in for our London to San Diego flight as billionaire playboy superheroes, and thank you to Angels Fancy Dress ( fancydress.com (opens in new tab) ) for kitting us out!

I'm the Deputy Editor at Total Film magazine, looking after the long-form features there, and generally obsessing over all things Nolan, Kubrick and Pixar. Over the past decade I've worked in various roles for TF online and in print, including at GamesRadar+, and you can often hear me nattering on the Inside Total Film podcast. Bucket-list-ticking career highlights have included reporting from the set of Tenet and Avengers: Infinity War, as well as covering Comic-Con, TIFF and the Sundance Film Festival.
