Terminator TV series is still in the works

Remember back in 2013 when Skydance announced that a Terminator TV series had entered development? No? Well, it might be difficult to recall because we've heard nothing on the project since. However, with Terminator: Genisys gearing up for release next week, Skydance CEO David Ellison has confirmed to Collider that the accompanying series is still in the pipeline.

At the time of the announcement, X-Men: First Class scribes Zack Stentz and Ashley Miller were attached to script the show, which would "follow a critical moment from the first Terminator film (1984) and, where the film's [Genisys] story goes one way, the upcoming series will take the same moment in a completely different direction. As the rebooted film trilogy and the new TV series progress, the two narratives will intersect with each other in some surprising and dramatic ways."
