Sofa Vergara fronts a new Machete Kills poster

Sofía Vergara is one of a vast number of attractive actresses that Robert Rodriguez has assembled to flank Danny Trejo’s titular badass in Machete Kills .

We’ve seen Amber Heard rocking a beauty queen sash as Miss San Antonio. We’ve Alexa Vega (formerly of Spy Kids fame) in a particularly eye-catching outfit. And even Lady Gaga has had a sultry one-sheet .

Now Modern Family star Vergara’s Madame Desdemona has been thrown into the mix, sporting an incredible pair of guns on a brand new promo poster.

Firing from both barrels like an Austin Powers fembot, Vergara makes it clear that Rodriguez’ sequel won’t be toning down any of the film’s grindhouse-inspired excesses.

Right now, we don't know if Vergara is an ally or enemy to Machete. Check out the poster below:



Also featuring Vanessa Hudgens, Jessica Alba, Charlie Sheen, Michelle Rodriguez and Mel Gibson, Machete Kills is set to open in the US on 13 September 2013.
