Show Maybe? hits the web

Just like every other year, this year's E3 expo was flooded with free pamphlets, flimsy tchotchkes and other cheap junk for attendees to haul around in giant tote bags. But for Metal Gear fans, the must-have souvenir was a copy of developer Kojima Productions' Show Maybe?, a high-gloss parody of the daily E3 magazine Show Daily.

Starting today, anyone who wasn't able to attend E3 can read Show Maybe? for themselves, as Kojima Productions and publisher Konami have made the entire magazine - ads and all - freely available on its website.

The magazine is an entertaining, well-written one - and itreveals new details about upcoming Metal Gear projects, including hints on upcoming storylines, confirmation of a Metal Gear Solid movie, a look at the Nintendo DS game Lunar Knights and a behind-the-scenes look at the 15-minute trailer for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. Show Maybe? is absolutely worth reading back to front. To start reading now, just clickhere.

After graduating from college in 2000 with a BA in journalism, I worked for five years as a copy editor, page designer and videogame-review columnist at a couple of mid-sized newspapers you've never heard of. My column eventually got me a freelancing gig with GMR magazine, which folded a few months later. I was hired on full-time by GamesRadar in late 2005, and have since been paid actual money to write silly articles about lovable blobs.
