Overwatch's Halloween Terror Event is live and Twitter's gone positively batty

Overwatch's Halloween Terror event has gone live on all consoles and I'm not freaking out you're freaking out. Blizzard always pulls out all the stops for its Halloween events and Overwatch's inaugural event is no exception: on top of spooky skins, sprays, and emotes, it even adds in the game's first ever co-op mode: the Junkenstein's Revenge Brawl.

But first, about those new items...

Plenty of new poses and sprays for all. And the new Brawl sounds like fun (it's always a good time for haunted Horde Mode), as long as you like playing as Ana, Soldier 76, McCree, or Hanzo. Want to try out Reaper's new Jack-o'-Lantern skin? You'll just have to play the good old-fashioned PvP. Or just stare at this GIF for an accurate approximation.

Even as you slowly realize that one of your favorite characters didn't get a new skin. Maybe next year, literal gremlin D.Va.

Oh, and a quick update for console players who are eager to mash the purchase button.

I'm counting the hours until I can knock off work and start playing all this stuff, but one question remains: dónde está Sombra? Some art showing the new character apparently leaked along with details of the Halloween event, but now the event is here and Sombra is still nowhere to be found. But it looks like her ARG countdown clock is set to expire before the end of Halloween Terror on November 1, so we may not have to wait too much longer. You could always try this hot tip until then.
