Legendary has released a new on-set image from Godzilla online, and it's one that focuses on mood rather than any of the film's key players or the monster itself.
The new image shows a group of soldiers standing on watch in an exotic-looking location, most likely Hawaii, where much of the film is being shot.
The still doesn't give much away, but it does evoke a mood of uneasy anticipation… a kind of calm before a giant lizard-shaped storm.

Not that we know something they don't, but we'd suggest those soldiers might have a bit more than boredom on their hands sooner rather than later…
Directed by Gareth Edwards and co-starring Aaron Taylor Johnson, Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Olsen and Juliette Binoche, Godzilla will open in the US on 16 May 2014, with a UK date to be confirmed.
