First creepy teaser for horror anthology Tales Of Halloween

For film fans, October usually brings with it the latest chapter in the Paranormal Activity franchise. Seeing as Blumhouse pushed back the release of its final instalment, the gaping hole on the cinematic calendar has been filled by Epic Pictures' forthcoming frightfest Tales of Halloween.

The holiday-themed anthology hosts a ton of burgeoning genre talent both in front of and behind the camera. Neil Marshall (The Descent), Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II, VI and V), Axelle Carolyn (Soulmate), Adam Gierasch (Night of the Demons remake) and Andrew Kasch (Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy) are just a handful of filmmakers responsible for some of the vignettes included.

Check out the first teaser below:

Densely-packed with tons of familiar Halloween icons, the cast is a veritable who's who of the horror genre. Lin Shaye (Insidious) and Adrienne Barbeau (The Fog) make brief appearances along with a ton of horror directors doing their cameo duty; John Landis, Joe Dante, Adam Green and Stuart Gordon to name but a few. With that much talent weighing in, Tales of Halloween looks to be a solid spooky pick for October. The film opens in the US on October 16, 2015 with a UK release to be confirmed.
