Eternals may have been and gone from theaters, but the Marvel movie's Disney Plus release date is just around the corner.
While it seemed Marvel's latest big-screen adventure would be heading to Disney Plus around 45 days after playing in cinemas, the gap has actually been a little longer.
The movie will officially arrive on Disney Plus on January 12. Eternals released in cinemas on November 5, so that's just over a two-month wait. Compare that with Encanto, which lands on Disney Plus this December 24 after a November 26 release, and it's certainly longer than we've seen before.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings arrived on Disney Plus on November 12, which also marked a longer period than the presumed 45-day after playing in theaters. The release was linked to Disney Plus Day, which explains that particular gap.
While you wait for Eternals to release on Disney Plus, there's more Marvel to keep you occupied. Not only can you watch Shang-Chi, but you can make sure you're up to date with the Christmas-themed Hawkeye series. Then there's the Marvel back-catalog: WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, and What If...? are all available to stream in their entirety, and Black Widow is streaming for no extra charge.
And if you're wanting to get back to the theater again, then you have Spider-Man: No Way Home – this one's certainly a crazy multiverse experience. Check out our guide to Marvel Phase 4 for more.
