Dead Island Definitive Collection coming to PS4, Xbox One on May 31

Dead Island 2 might be a ways off, but fans of tropical zombie-bashing will still be able to get their fill later this spring. Dead Island Definitive Collection is bringing remastered versions of the original Dead Island and Dead Island Riptide to PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 31.

Dead Island and Dead Island Riptide both feature new textures, models, and lighting effects, as well as general performance enhancements over their previous-gen counterparts. These two games will also include previously-released DLC, plus a fan favorite mod called Power Fists that will be available across all systems.

If you're in the mood for something a little less menacing, Dead Island Definitive Collection will also come with Dead Island Retro Revenge; a pixelated, sidescrolling, beat-em-up style mini-game.

The Definitive Collection will be available in stores for $40/£30, or you can pick up the remastered, digital-only versions of Dead Island and Dead Island Riptide individually for $20/£15 each.
