OXM Editor-In-Chief Francesca Reyes got to see BioShock Infinite earlier in the month at a pre-E3 press event. Of course, she jumped at the opportunity to see the same demo again today when Irrational Games presented the opportunity to catch a repeat performance. Even though Mass Effect 3 isn’t due out for another nine (9!) months, OXM Executive Editor Corey Cohen was able to take in some of the crazy new action sequences standing between Commander Shepard and intergalactic peace. Read more about Mass Effect 3 in the OXM preview here.
Rounding out the OXM staff’s indulgence in upcoming sci-fi blockbusters, Web Editor Dave Rudden was able to check out a demo of Aliens: Colonial Marines narrated by none other than Gearbox Software CEO Randy Pitchford. Mr. P’s enthusiasm for the game is infectious – the team is doing great work, and the show attendees are digging the game. Check out the preview of the true sequel to Aliens here.

As the tallest editor on the OXM payroll, Features Editor Kevin Smith was the best candidate to tackle the insanely gigantic boss battle in the E3 demo for Capcom’s action title, Asura’s Wrath. Learn what it’s like to fight a boss as big as earth in our extended preview here.
