The Orange Box Easter Eggs

  Hidden Left 4 Dead Trailer

  Go to the game select screen (when you choose between Half-life 2, Portal, or TF2), and wait without doing anything. After a few minutes you will see a demo video for the three Orange Box games. When the videos end, keep waiting. The next time a video plays it will be a hidden trailer for Left 4 Dead.

  
  

The Orange Box Glitches

  Portal: Shoot a Portal anywhere

  Alright this cheat or glitch will let you shoot a portal anywhere in the game. This means all surfaces are a possible holding dock for your portals; metal walls, doors, glass, even the walls made to avoid being able to be hit with a portal. You will even be able to shoot a full portal on the door in the elevators.
  
  Enough with that, here's what you do:
  
  1: Start a new game. When you get into the first elevator keep making boxes until you get to level two (Down, B, A, B, Y, DOWN, B, A, B, Y)Tip: Aim at the ground just in front of you so the box doesn't hit the wall while it's moving and start bouncing around in kill you. Believe me: it will!
  2: Play through the levels until you get the blue portal gun. As soon as you get it upgrade it so you have the orange portal gun too. (X, B, LB, LEFT, RIGHT, LB, RB, LT, RT) There isn't a time frame to enter the cheat, just don't get on the elevator until you have done the cheat.
  3. Keep shooting the boxes in the elevator.
  4. When you get to level five, don't use the orange portal at all! it screws up the level and you'll have to restart the level.
  5. Just remember that you have to keep playing: if you quit, even without doing a manual save, the game will auto-fix itself so that you cannot access the glitch unless you restart.
  
  Tips
  >Use the glitch to get even further "behind the walls" especially on the first turret level.
  >You can even shoot portals on surfaces that don't look solid, like the red and white lighting behind fans and vents.
  >On level 19, when you get to the part when there's a bunch of turrets around you (not the three but the ten plus) You can skip the entire thing and just shoot one to the top
  >When you get passed all the turrets in the same room (right before the hall to the hall to glados) you can shoot a portal on the top blue lighting that fades out to fogginess.
  
  >Have fun, and when glados is about to explode, try to make another cube and hold on to it. It's a piece of cake! ;-)
