At Microsoft's E3 presser, Ted Price took to the stage for Insomniac Games to announce their latest title Sunset Overdrive forXbox One. The game trailer revealed it as a multiplayer open-world shooter, complete with some of the wacky weapons you would expect from the developer. The featured character was shown performing various parkour moves like wall running, jumping on ziplines, and skateboarding on random rooftop objects.
While there are conventional weapons like shotguns and machine guns, one character was shown dispatching creepy mutated enemies with a vinyl record launcher. So, the game seems to be maintaining the unique charm of the Insomniac developers. No release date has been announced as of yet, but we will be bringing you more information on the game as we learn more in the coming days.
Be sure to check back for more on the trailer.
