Stephanie Szostak is reportedly in negotiations to join the cast of R.I.P.D. , playing the role of Ryan Reynolds' wife.
Szostak played Paul Rudd's girlfriend in Dinner For Schmucks and will play Matt Damon's wife in the upcoming film We Bought a Zoo .
Producer Neal H. Moritz has previously described the film very elegantly, so here he is once more: "It’s about two cops, one recently dead and a gunslinger who’s been dead for hundreds of years who work in the Rest In Peace department – which is the police department of the dead. It takes place on a normal day and it’s about trying to keep the dead quiet."
Reynolds plays the newly-deceased cop, while Jeff Bridges is the wild west lawman.
R.I.P.D. is scheduled to begin production soon and is expected to open in the summer of 2012.
