SPACE MISSION 2: CONVICTION

ACHIEVEMENTS

Conviction: Complete the “Conviction” mission in the Heart of the Swarm campaign.
Staying Alive: Prevent Kerrigan’s life from dropping below 50% in the “Conviction” mission.
Saturday Night Fever: Reach the Prison Deck with Kerrigan in less than 8 minutes in the “Conviction” mission on Normal difficulty.

This is one of the more straightforward missions in the campaign. There’s nothing really tricky you need to worry about, because just when you think you may be outnumbered, reinforcements come to your aid.

Use your abilities on cooldown and even large groups like these are easily dealt with. Make sure you save your infestors because fungal growth will help you deal with the next group. More reinforcements will arrive soon.

You’re resupplied with enough units to not have to worry so much about the next few groups, especially if you still have your infestors.

There are a total of 4 doors that will open and send in my units. You can easily trap them in there and hit all of the units inside with one fungal growth.

Right after you breach the door, head to the left to find the first secret document for the bonus objective.

Attack once all 4 virophages have hatched.

Don’t be afraid to attack the units in the next room. Reinforcements will arrive once you engage.

You will have enough units, thanks to the reinforcements, to directly assault all of the units in the next area.

Just when you think you’re about to run out of units, more reinforcements arrive.

Instead of chasing the running marines head down the path to the right, where you’ll find the last secret document.

You will be supplied with even more reinforcements in the final room of this mission.
