The first proper gameplay footage from Silent Hill V has hit the internet - and it hasn't exactly blown our socks off.
Check it out on YouTube.
Coming via some German TV program (just listen for yourself), the video shows lead character Alex Shepard running through foggy streets, tugging at boarded windows and, yes, jogging through dark warehouses with a flashlight. It looks like Silent Hill alright.
The lighting and shadows certainly look better than the PS2 installments, but we're going to have to see some combat and cold, hard story before we get our knickers in a bunch over this new chapter. And it wouldn’t hurt to get series sound man Yamaoka on the project, stat.
