Scorsese and DiCaprio hunt the Wolf Of Wall Street

Martin Scorsese said when holding his Oscar high, that he and Leo DiCaprio would work together again. Well, with several projects already on the bubble in their development oven, they’ve thrown yet another project onto the flames, thanks to the hefty wallet of Warners.

The pair is looking to direct and star in an adaptation of The Wolf Of Wall Street. With a script scribbled by Sopranos writer Terence Winter, Wolf will be taken from the autobiography of Jordan Belfort, a stockbroker from New Jersey who became a heavy hitter on Wall Street, but was sent to prison for not testifying during a massive fraud and corruption case.

And, like DiCaprio’s role in Catch Me If You Can, it’ll feature a meaty role for a fellow actor as the FBI agent who tried to convince Belfort to become a witness for the state.

Of course, because both Scorsese and DiCaprio have plenty of other projects waiting to go before the camera, it could be a while before this tale rises to the top.
