Saints Row 4's first campaign DLC, Enter the Dominatrix, will hit the U.S. on Oct. 22 and Europe on Oct. 23. But what is the Dominatrix?
It's an alternate take on Saints Row 4's storyline: the crew is still trapped in virtual reality thanks to professional party ruiner Zinyak, but this time he lets the eponymous Dominatrix, an evil AI, and her legions of gimp and prostitute programs assail the Saints in place of his virtual footsoldiers.
Several familiar characters will return (c'mon auto-tuned pimp Zimos) and Enter the Dominatrix will even include behind-the-scenes commentary about the content's unusual progression from standalone expansion pack to Saints Row: The Third, to the basis for Saints Row 4, to DLC episode.
The DLC will be available for $7 on its own or as part of the $10 season pass. Said pass will also include one more campaign expansion coming later this year. You'll have to navigate your eyes slightly downward for this one, because we believe it merits its own paragraph:
How the Saints Saved Christmas.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and was formerly a staff writer at GamesRadar.
