Ryan Reynolds confirms Deadpool will be rated R: watch now

If you’re anything like us, you’ve probably had your fill of April Fool’s jokes by now, but bear with us because this one is worth a look. It comes from Deadpool, with Ryan Reynolds agreeing to an interview with Extra’s Mario Lopez in order to discuss the film.

The interview is all pretty run of the mill until Lopez suggests that Fox has announced the film will be PG-13, at which point things take a turn. A pretty hilarious turn, at that…

Check out the new interview below…

“Fuck you, Slater!” might just be our favourite thing to come out of yesterday’s tsunami of pranks! And while we’d hesitate to take anything released on 1 April too seriously, it certainly seems as though this is Fox’s way of confirming that the film will in fact be an R.

Directed by Tim Miller and co-starring Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein and Gina Carano, Deadpool will open in the UK and US on 12 February 2016.
