Brace yourselves - potentially very spoilery rumours are coming.
Numerous comic book movie sites are starting to report that they know what the post-credits sting to Captain America: The Winter Soldier will be, and it sounds like it'll tie directly into Avengers 2: Age of Ultron .
ComicBook.com report industry sources state that none other than Pietro and Wanda Maximoff (AKA Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch) will pop up on-screen, a notable nod to Joss Whedon's hugely anticipated Avengers follow-up which has already cast Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen in the roles.
Not only that, but it'd mean that Marvel would get their version of Quicksilver on-screen to the masses before Fox manage it with their incarnation in X-Men: Days of Future Past , thus firing the final and definitive PR shot in the ongoing war of the character use.
Add this to the news back in January that Thomas Kretschmann has been cast as Baron Wolfgang von Strucker , a villainous character who's reputed to be the boss of said superheroic siblings, and it looks like all the (rumour-y) pieces are coming together to provide what could be the most fan-pleasing sting yet.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier hits UK cinemas from 28 March 2014.
