R-rated Sausage Party trailer is a sweary, NSFW food massacre

Whimpering buns, quivering hot dogs... yes, we're talking about the new r-rated Sausage Party trailer. After its Comic Con debut, the whole glorious mess is now online for your viewing pleasure.

It was the first NSFW teaser which introduced us to the lifestyles of anthropomorphic food. Their hopes and dreams of a better life outside the grocery store quickly dashed when its revealed that "hey, humans fucking EAT US!" There's panic and mayhem. In the middle of all that, the crude geniuses behind this bonkers animation flick pander to your every juvenile innuendo. Buns and weiners touching 'just the tips'? 'Scuse me while I never look at barbecue food the same way ever again.

And let's not forget all the bad language - there's about half a dozen F-bomb variants in this footage alone. Who knew grits had such foul mouths? Although it's hard to hold it against that poor, cowering toilet roll...

Directed by Greg Tiernan & Conrad Vernon, and starring Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Jonah Hill, Bill Hader, Michael Cera, James Franco, Paul Rudd, Salma Hayek, and Edward Norton, Sausage Party is scheduled to open in US theatres on August 14, 2016, before opening in UK cinemas on September 2, 2016.
