Play the Resident Evil 7 demo right now (if you have PS Plus)

Intrigued by the freaky new direction for Resident Evil 7 at Sony's E3 press conference? If you have a PS4 and PS Plus, you can try it yourself right now. Just head over the to the PS Store and download "Resident Evil 7 Teaser Demo: Beginning Hour" from the Demo section - you can also find it online on the EU Store or US Store.

Capcom has confirmed that RE7 takes place in the same universe as the previous games, set after the events of Resident Evil 6. Beyond that, Capcom says the demo will give you "a sense of the intense and terrifying experience awaiting you" in the full game.

Assuming this is following the P.T. playbook - and it really looks like it is, what with the first-person view and surprise demo - you'll likely find scares and secret teasers in equal measure. Hopefully it sets off a whole new wave of people babbling nonsense into their microphones, too.
