Original Soulcalibur coming to iOS soon
Souls will soon continue to burn on your Apple devices
As excited as we are for Soulcalibur V, what with Ezio from Assassin's Creed and special editions coming out January 31, our heart still belongs to the original Soulcalibur. Back when it was known as Soul Calibur, we played it endlessly on our Dreamcast, transfixed by the dense combat, the immense number of side modes, and the stunningly gorgeous visuals. Now just 12 years later that technological marvel is heading to iOS devices, as Namco revealed that soon Soulcalibur will be appearing on Apple platforms soon.

Though Namco wasn’t much more descriptive than “soon,” we’re glad the classic will reach a new audience. Still, you have to wonder just how the controls will translate to the iPhone. Will there just be a button overlay on the screen, or something more innovative using the touch screen.
