Noomi Rapace has been discussing Prometheus 2 , and has hinted at the new villains we can expect to see in the forthcoming sequel.
With Ridley Scott having recently suggested the Xenomorphs won’t feature next time around, it remains to be seen what form the chief antagonists of the new film will take, although Rapace has a couple of big ideas…
“God?” she suggests in an interview with MTV . “Or the Devil? I don’t know where [ Scott ] is going to take us, but I can’t wait to go there. I don’t know what we’re going to discover.”
“She can’t go to Earth,” says Rapace of her character, Elizabeth Shaw. “There’s nothing left for her there really. She wants to go where they came from, those creatures… so what’s there? I don’t know.”
With Scott likely to direct and with Michael Fassbender also set to return, Prometheus 2 will open in the US on 4 March 2016 with a UK date to be confirmed.
