Ninja Gaiden Sigma guide
Complete walkthrough with everything a ninja needs to know
Chapter 5: The Fiend Hunter
Meet Rachel, everybody. She's the new playable character in Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Don't worry too much about having to learn how to play with her - she controls exactly like Hayabusa, only she lacks the ability to grab onto ledges and cords and scale walls. Her weapon, the Warhammer, is slower than Hayabusa's katana and Lunar, but it packs a pretty hefty punch. Still, you may want to find a place to safely experiment with it a bit in order to figure out its combos.
This stage is extremely straightforward - your goal is the reach the top floor of the library in the Monastery. There are a few semi-hidden recovery items along the way, but none of them are particularly difficult to locate. There are several enemy encounters here, including a swarm of Black Spider Ninjas in the library room, but no bosses or mini-bosses to speak of. You probably won't need to use many healing supplies, but if you do opt to buy some, you'll find that Rachel gets a substantial discount. Before you get too excited, though you should know that items Rachel finds and purchases are only usable in the stages she goes through.
Once you're done beating the brains out of the various fiends in this level and investigating the paintings in the library, you'll switch back to playing as Ryu.

Oh, that's why the Stellar Blade devs were terrified by demo players: one fan's spent "about 60 hours" maxing Eve's skill tree before the action RPG is even out
