A pair of new images have been released from Monsters University , showing Sulley and Mike’s early friendship during their time on campus.
The first image shows Sulley throwing Mike up on his shoulders at what looks like some sort of Christmas party, while the second shows a wide-eyed Mike pitching up to college laden with suitcases.
We don’t know about you but there’s something about the latter picture in particular that strikes us as impossibly cute. Perhaps it’s just the length of time that has passed since the first film, but we’ve missed these guys!
The new film will focus on the duo’s days at the University of Fear, and how they overcame their initial dislike of each other to become the best of pals. And lest we forget, two of Monsters Inc.’s finest employees.
Directed by Dan Scanlon and co-starring the vocal talents of Billy Crystal, John Goodman and Steve Buscemi, Monsters University will open in the UK on 12 July 2013.
