Neighborhood Watch's publicity has been building steadily and now a teaser trailer has been released.
The high-profile summer comedy features an array of comic talent with Ben Stiller joined by Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill and Richard Ayoade.
The film's story sees a group of dads forming a neighbourhood watch to get time away from their families. However, their plan goes horrifyingly wrong when they discover an intergalactic threat to Earth.
The teaser gives away very little, but it does show the cast patrolling the neighborhood with 'Still D.R.E' thumping from their car, before Stiller and Hill try to shake down a local troublemaker.
Submarine director Ayoade is making his big Hollywood debut here, though the teaser doesn't give much away about his character with only a brief removal of some shades revealing his trademark specs underneath.
The script is penned by Seth Rogen and his writing partner Evan Goldberg. The pair have already collaborated on projects such as Superbad, Pineapple Express and The Green Hornet .
The film is due to roll in cinemas on 22 August 2012.
