Bryan Singer is full of surprises, isn’t he? Just when you think his X-Men: Days Of Future Past ensemble is complete, up pops another casting announcement to keep us on our toes.
The latest addition to the project is one Josh Helman, a former Home & Away star and relative unknown, who has signed on to play an undisclosed character.
This might not ordinarily raise eyebrows, but for the fact that The Wrap mentions Helman will be required on set for a period of several weeks.
That suggests to us that his part won’t be a throwaway character, but something a little more substantial.
In any case, it gives the comment boards plenty to speculate on in the coming weeks and months. Directed by Singer, X-Men: Days Of Future Past will open in the UK on 23 May 2014.
