A price drophas been announcedfor two of the best games in the Xbox Live Arcade library today, as Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet and Toy Soldiers get sliced 33% to 800 MSP or $10.
The drop comes right in the middle of Microsoft's "Arcade Next" program which has already seen the releases of Trials Evolution and BloodForge, and will follow with Fable Heroes and Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition on May 2 and May 9, respectively.
It's not a titanic drop in price, but it does seem a little bit odd that these price drops would come now when they'll soak up some cash from gamers' budgets right before the releases of Fable Heroes and Minecraft. Though it's entirely possible that this will merely contribute to keeping attention on XBLA as the promotion continues.
Both games were favorites around the GR offices with both titles garnering 8/10 reviews from us. They're both a steal at just $10. Now if we could just get these developers together to create Insanely Twisted Toy Soldiers.
