Image Comics November 2020 solicitations and covers revealed

Crossovers rule the day in the just-released Image Comics November 2020 solicitations. From a series literally titled 'Crossover' to a face-off between two of Mark Millar's top heroes.

Crossovers are big business in the world of superhero comic books, and Donny Cates and Geoff Shaw are taking that idea a bit 'meta' with their new creator-owned series titled, appropriately enough, Crossover

Superman is namechecked in the first issue, and Madman is teased on a variant cover. Looks like there could be something up a la Ready Player One in this upcoming series. Check out a preview of the first issue over here.

And Steve Niles and Marcelo Frusin are pitting two of the most popular independent superheroes against each other in Kick-Ass vs. Hit-Girl. Based on the characters by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr. (which 'crossover-ed' into the mainstream in a series of movies), this limited series was teased earlier in the year but put on hold due to the ongoing pandemic until now.

Meanwhile, the award-winning series Monstress by Marjorie Liu and Sana Takeda is getting a surprising spin-off subtitled Talk-Stories. Liu and Takeda are back for this one, described as a fire-side storytelling session by one of the lead characters, Kippa.

And as a reminder, if you see “Image 1 of x” in the upper left corner, there are multiple variant covers to check out. Click the left and right arrows to see them all.

And all images can be expanded with the compass key in the lower right-hand corner too!

So check out the new titles from the Image Comics November 2020 solicitations. You can view the Archie Comics November 2020 solicitations, the DC November 2020 solicitations, and the Marvel Comics November 2020 solicitations as well.
