Ico and Shadow of the Colossus HD versions coming to PSN next week

Ico and Shadow of the Colossus are two of the most respected games ever, both taking high spots on our top 100 games of all time, so obviously we enjoyed the recent HD rerelease of the titles for PS3. In fact, Sony’s recreation of the games was so good we gave it a 9/10. Now the publisher is following the example set with previous HD collections, as next week both version will be downloadable on PSN.

Announced on the PlayStation Blog, each game will be available as a $20 download next week. The pricing is pretty fair since the retail copy is $40, though if these are similar to when PSN downloads appeared for the Sly Collection and God of War, these versions of Ico and Shadow won’t include any of the special features from the Blu-ray. But for those of you out there that are low on shelf space or for some reason only want to own one of these, you’ll soon have a solution.
